A revolution is a drastic change, and if it is an industrial revolution, it means it is a revolution in the industry or manufacturing. The First Industrial Revolution  started in 1750 and finished in 1850 and was situated in England. It was dominated by two developments in technology that were the steam engine and machines. In 1860 the second one started, and finished in 1914. It was situated primarily in the United States as well as the continental Europe. It was defined more by steal chemicals, electricity and petroleum or fuel oil. In addition to the introduction of new sources of power and machinery, the Industrial Revolution resulted in new ways of thinking about work. The process of making things began to be viewed in terms of a system: machines and people functioning together in workplaces, typically in factories as parts of a factory  system.
